I love the rising trend of high-end designers teaming up with an accessible retailer, like H&M or Target, for a special collection. I think it’s a great way to introduce a brand to a customer who may not be familiar with them or unable to meet their price point. These collections have gained huge notoriety – you can check my post about H&M x Balmain here – but I think one of the collections I’ve been the most excited for is the Who What Wear collaboration with Target for Spring 2016. The collection debuted Sunday and I’ve noticed that it has already been extremely successful. You can easily shop entire looks, learn how to mix and match the pieces and the collection even has a ton of plus options, which is uncommon for designer collaborations.
I personally love Who What Wear and was excited that it wasn’t a high-end designer this go around. Who What Wear is a powerful voice in the fashion industry and I know as a shopper myself, I seek versatility when shopping, and I’m confident that Katherine Power and Hillary Kerr did just that when creating a wearable, accessible and versatile collection. I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the collection launch party last week and it was so fun! You can catch some pics from the event at the end of the post. Today I’m wearing my new Who What Wear scarf and personalized clutch. Enjoy and definitely go grab your WWW pieces before they sell out! xx
