It was love at first sight with this kimono. During my trip to Arizona in May, I was pulling some clothing from Buffalo Exchange for a styling project. I came across this kimono and knew it was perfect for the shoot. The store manager then told me the story behind this kimono (with made me fall even more in love with it). The kimono was from a store regular; she sells her vintage pieces to Buffalo pretty often and even has several storage units of items she has collected over the years. How insane is that?! She’s my vintage idol. I believe the kimono was originally from the 70’s and was in mint condition. After the shoot I ended up purchasing it – how could I live without this dime piece? My favorite pieces in my wardrobe are always my vintage finds. They all have a story behind them and I hope to one day have closets, even storage units, filled with vintage clothing! Have a great day! xo

I also love to find antique pieces of clothing! I absolutely love this piece you found!
Audree,
I am loving this kimono look! I definitely want to try it but it got so hot so quick (down south), so I am looking for one that is a little more light weight! This was definitely such a good find, I am in love with the detailing. Good look!
xoxo
