Teen Vogue #BTSS

Raise your hand if you can’t believe it’s already time for school to start again *raised hand girl emoji*. I feel like I just started freshman year in college and it’s an incredibly weird feeling knowing that I won’t be back at Arizona State University this fall. But, when Teen Vogue presented me with the opportunity to be a Back-to-School Saturday host, I immediately said, “YES!” I couldn’t wait to host an event for my favorite Arizona State fashionistas and fashionistos.

I hosted my #BTSS event last Monday at Shop Olive You, an on-campus boutique that seriously has the cutest stuff (check out my outfit collaborations with them here and here), and invited local bloggers, ASU friends and Business of Fashion at ASU members. This event meant so much to me because I was able to have some of my favorite people all in one place, celebrate the local fashion community and say farewell before jetting off to NYC!

Teen Vogue sent us a trunk (see video here) and it was full of goodies from companies like American Apparel, Maybelline, Staples, Tampax, and so many more. I made a center display at the store with a majority of the goodies and then a separate table of speciality items like the clothes, jewelry and office supplies for a raffle at the end of the event. I even kept a few items for myself (like the American Apparel skirt I wore at the event) so I can blog later and show you the pieces I really loved from the Back-To-School Saturday Event!
