My Summer Work Shoe: The White Sneaker

Oh hello there! I’m back in New York City after a month-long vacation to the West Coast and I’m so excited to be sharing today’s blog post!

My work attire has drastically changed over the past couple of years. When I first moved to NYC I wore heels to work, and fast forward to today, my sneaker collection has quadrupled in size and my go-to work look is a pair of jeans, loose blouse or graphic tee, a chic outerwear piece and of course, sneakers.

I recently got my hands on the new Kayleigh High Top Koolaburra by UGG sneakers, and they are my new favorite work sneaker. I paired my sneakers with vintage high-waisted sneakers, a cream vintage blouse and vintage paisley smoking jacket. This look is super versatile because I can wear it from my morning meetings, to a photoshoot set and social events after work. One of my favorite features of the sneakers is that they have the side zipper so I can literally slip them on in a couple seconds and head out the door.

From busy weekdays, to adventurous weekends, my Koolaburra high tops are the perfect sneaker for summer. On the weekends I pair my sneakers with a flirty summer dress or graphic tee and wrap skirt. They’re also super light-weight and the white is my go-to color for summer!
