It's Fall!

Fall has arrived! In Arizona I used to pretend it was fall in 80 degree weather; I would wear light layers indoors and force myself to buy the hot pumpkin spice latte, why?  Because it was fall dammit. Well yesterday I had a rude awaking when my roommate texted our group chat asking if we should stock up on “hurricane food” because this weekend could get nasty with Hurricane Joaquin. Wait what? Weather notifications are a real thing? The most severe weather I’ve encountered is the occasional Haboob (Check it out here) but it sounds and looks more intense that it really is. Anyway… I had to buy a new umbrella, I bought a real scarf from H&M and I have extra ramen in the cupboard in case yours truly faces some serious weather this weekend.
