Well fam, I’m back! And bigger and better than ever I might add. My last blog entry was in early March, and to be completely honest with you—my life has kind of turned upside down (for the better) in the past few months. I’ll dive into more of that this week on the blog, but first and foremost, I have some exciting new additions, and some familiar faces on the Audree Kate Studios team!
Last week we had our summer interns kick start, my FIRST FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE (!!!) moved to New York and began her career with Audree Kate Studios, and I hired a freelance stylist assistant. To say it’s been a busy month so far for our team, would be an understatement.
I have a dedicated team working behind the scenes every single day helping me run Audree Kate Studios Inc., Simply Audree Kate and Fashion Fundamentals and I’m overjoyed to introduce you to them. We have some really exciting things coming your way in 2019, so make sure to stay tuned, subscribe to our email list and follow us on social! xo

Hi guys, Audree here! I started my career working in the fashion departments at Glamour, O, the Oprah Magazine and Redbook. After leaving my corporate job, I worked on creative freelance projects at Marc Jacobs, Alice + Olivia, J.Crew and Club Monaco. In 2017 I joined the styling team at Alice + Olivia, became a contributing fashion editor for StyleCaster.com and worked a freelance market editor for various publications and editorial/celebrity stylists.
I launched Simply Audree Kate, in 2012 and have collaborated with hundreds of brands including: Olay, Topshop, Neutrogena, Starbucks, Coach, Fossil, Dooney & Bourke, Steve Madden, Urban Decay, H&M, Old Navy, Coca Cola and ASOS.
My student mentorship program and community, Fashion Fundamentals, launched in 2016 and I’ve has hosted workshops and classes at college campuses around the country. I published my ebook, “Fashion Fundamentals: Internships, Networking and Social Media” and I have now expanded my program into a digital educational course for students. I’ve been named Sigma Kappa Sorority’s 35 Under 35 and Alexa’s Top 100 New York City Bloggers.

Since my first summer interning in NYC I knew that this was the place that I wanted to be. I’ve interned at Redbook Magazine, Simply Audree Kate, V Magazine, and Society19. In my free time I love relaxing, hunting down the best happy hours in the city, and hanging out with friends. I’m excited to start this new journey and see what this next year will bring. Stay tuned because you’ll be seeing me around a lot!

Last semester, I was a Social Media Intern, and I will continue to be an intern throughout the summer!

My goal is to be a Creative Director for a high end fashion brand along with freelance styling. Some things I love are traveling, thrifting vintage clothes, styling, eating, and of course Friends.
Julia Renna – Social Media Intern
@JULIARENA
Hi, I’m Julia and I’m a Styling Intern! I’m a Fashion Merchandising student at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. I have experience as a PR Intern, Atelier Intern, Social Media Visual Coordinator, and Brand/Visual Coordinator. My favorite part about styling is seeing someone’s perspective about themselves completely change. No matter the body type, it is such a fulfilling feeling when someone’s confidence skyrockets after styling them with clothes that they would not usually think of wearing.
IN ADDITION TO OUR SMALL ARMY OF INTERNS, I HAVE WORKED WITH SOME REALLY AMAZING CREATIVES THE PAST YEAR:
ASHLEY GALLERANI – PHOTOGRAPHER
@ASHLEYGALLERANIPHOTOGRAPHY
I have worked with Ashley the past year and a half and she has photographed a majority of my blog campaigns, and we also shoot together for styling projects.
AUSTIN WADE – GRAPHIC DESIGNER
@ASTN.WADE
Austin has been a key role in the team the past year. He designed the Fashion Fundamentals eBook and The Holiday Edit magazine this past year and I’m really excited to continue working with him in 2019. He is currently based in Arizona (fun fact: he was a member of the fashion student organization I co-founded in college.) This year he launched his own streetwear label @awade.works. Make sure to check out his stuff!
SHELBY COTTON – VIDEO EDITOR
@SHELBYCOTTON
Shelby is possibly one of my favorite people I’ve met in New York. We actually both went to Arizona State University, but never met until I moved to New York. She’s an incredibly talented film maker and editor and has edited all of the Simply Audree Kate videos the past year. She has an insane eye for detail and I can’t wait to see what we work on this year!
KASEY MILLER- MARKETING CONSULTANT
@KASEYJOYMILLER
Kasey is probably the biggest catalyst of why Simply Audree Kate exists today. We met freshman year of college and Kasey asked me to model in a shoot with her for a couple local photographers. From there, things quickly fell into place. The photographers encouraged me to start a blog to document my styling, they asked me to style for them and the rest was history. Recently Kasey started Park St. Studio with her husband and they’re a creative power duo. Her husband Kory designs, and Kasey oversees all marketing and sales.
I asked Kasey to help me with marketing during the launch of the holiday magazine and have now asked her to help me going forward! I love having her insight and ideas on how to grow my businesses and I honestly feel so comfortable with her. We have some pretty exciting things up our sleeves, so much sit tight 🙂
