Is it just me, or can 2018 pump the brakes a little? I feel like I’ve been a little all over the place, so I wanted to sit down and share what happened in the past few weeks over here at SAK HQ.
I kicked off the month recording a couple podcast and video interviews that will be launching this month! Then, I headed to Italy for a little spring vacation with some family friends. I spent a day in Florence and then the rest of the week in Rome. It was my first time in Italy and I instantly fell in love! I am anxiously waiting until I can go back!

After my trip I dove back into work meetings, press previews and events. During these busy market weeks, I have back-to-back meetings with brands and PR agencies to see upcoming collections for brands. I have about five or so meetings a day, then at night I’m attending cocktail or press events for brands. In-between these meetings and events, I’m normally working with my team, answering emails or photographing content for the blog.

I also styled a couple shoots in March. The first was for the upscale shoe boutique, Shoe-Inn, and I styled their spring campaign. I had the opportunity to style their fall content a few months ago and it was great working with them again! This past weekend I styled an editorial shoot for my label, Audree Kate Studios. I can’t share any BTS photos from that shoot yet, but below are some fun BTS shots from the Shoe-Inn photo shoot.
Last but certainly not least, I launched my eBook in March! I published “Fashion Fundamentals” as an introductory guide for college students to internships, social media and networking. This past year I had the privilege to host my personal branding workshop at a handful of universities around the country, and wanted to put together an interactive workbook for my college readers and workshop attendees.
