Happy Holidays with Papyrus Holiday Cards!

I was asked by Carusele to participate in the #PapyrusAtDuaneReade campaign, sponsored by Walgreens. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own.

It’s my favorite time of year and I could not be more excited to kick off the holiday season! Every year growing up my parents would send out holiday cards to friends and family wishing them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Once I moved to New York, I was really far away from my immediate family, so I decided that I wanted to create some of my own holiday traditions. I started decorating my apartment for each holiday, I would host parties with friends, and last year I sent out handwritten holiday cards to all my friends and family.

I absolutely love handwritten cards and letters, so I’m really excited to team up with Papyrus cards for their line at Duane Reade this year! Papyrus cards are all about embracing all that life has to offer. They are the brand I always look for when card shopping because they’re so unique, memorable and have a connection to fashion and the arts. Now that they’re at Duane Reade, it’s literally just around the corner from my apartment!

Don’t forget the attention to detail Papyrus cards are known for, making them the perfect card to send during the holidays. This holiday season I’m cozying up with some hot cocoa, Christmas music and a stack of Papyrus holiday cards. I know my holiday season is always super busy with work, travel and visiting family, so I love how this new tradition makes me remember the important things and people during the holiday, relax for a few minutes and connect with them.

My New Year’s Resolution for 2017 was the word “Focus” – I wanted to focus on myself, my businesses and my relationships. I feel like I have learned a lot about myself and my relationships this year, and writing holiday cards is the perfect ending to the year to recap and touch base with my loved ones.

Do you have a holiday tradition with your family or yourself? I’d love to hear what they are in the comments below, and make sure to check out your local Duane Reade for the amazing Papyrus holiday cards collection! Happy writing! xo
