Earlier this month I headed to Dallas for a quick weekend trip with Cambria Hotels! Cambria Hotels, an upscale hotel brand from Choice Hotels, put together a “Blogger Shuffle” with me and Dallas-based blogger, The Polished Posy. We swapped cities for the weekend, Tristan explored NYC and I did the same in Dallas and stayed at the the Cambria Hotel Downtown Dallas! I have never been to Dallas, and I can say that one weekend is not enough time! Our entire weekend with Cambria was amazing and I highly recommend staying here next time you’re in Dallas. It was centrally located, which made it easy to explore the city, and we loved hanging out at the hotel for meals, happy hour, and a little relaxation.
My assistant Lauren and I landed in Dallas early Friday morning and headed straight to the hotel. The staff was so friendly and the hotel room was amazing! I instantly felt at home while we were freshening ourselves after the long flight! First on our to-do list was a quick shopping meeting with Kendra Scott. I picked out a handful of new earrings for the weekend and then Lauren and I grabbed lunch at a nearby restaurant. After lunch we headed back to the Cambria Hotel Downtown Dallas to get ready for the Thomas Rhett concert! We met up with a few of my friends who now live in Dallas and we had so much fun that night.
On Saturday morning I went down to the lobby for some coffee and headed back to the room to get some work done. Afterwards we headed to brunch and then Deep Ellum to explore. We stopped by Petal Pushers for a super cute Instagram photo, Stirr for a quick rootfop cocktail, and Flea Style for the cutest vintage shopping.
After an adventurous Saturday, we headed back to the hotel for happy hour, dinner, and to enjoy our complimentary items from the Cambria Nightcap Program.
Cambria Hotels offers a Nightcap Program that has completely redefined the traditional meaning of a nightcap. In the past you have probably associated nightcap with an after-work cocktail, but the Cambria Nightcap Program provides more thoughtful, personalized upscale capstones to your day. Cambria conducted a survey and found that close to 50% of travelers are drinking less alcohol while on business trips. The results of the survey inspired Cambria to provide guests with more options to wind down and celebrate a day well-spent. Guests and locals can choose from several little luxuries at the Social Circle, including items like milk + cookies, a milk punch cocktail, or even Chamomile Lavender tea! Choice Privileges members also receive a complimentary nightcap upon check-in such as a hydrating face-mask, a shower burst, herbal tea, 250 Choice Privileges Points, or a $5 beverage voucher. I chose the tea for my nightcap and Lauren selected the shower burst!
Sunday morning we woke up refreshed after our night in. We were ready for a little brunch and made our way to The Old Monk. After a more than satisfying brunch, we headed to Katy’s Trail, a must-see in Dallas. Our last day flew by faster than expected, and I wish we had more time. After Katy’s we headed to the airport and back to NYC.
I can-not thank the Cambria Hotel Downtown Dallas, and The Polished Posy enough for a great weekend. I could not have imagined a better first trip to Dallas. I loved my itinerary, the “Modern Nightcap,” and the memories I was able to create. Thank you, Cambria, for helping me have a refreshing weekend! xo
