A Little Flare, A Little Ruffle

Happy Wednesday! I hope all of your weeks are going well! I feel like November is seriously flying by! I just booked a flight home for my birthday and Christmas and I’m really excited! I didn’t think I would be going home this year but I’m really looking forward to seeing my family and being home for the holiday season.

Today’s look is featuring my favorite flare jeans from Old Navy, and my new custom top from eShakti! eShakti is an online store that allows you to custom tailor each piece you buy. Can I get a hallelujah?! This is my dream come true. Pretty much up until I moved to NYC, I avoided online shopping. I was always unsure of the fit of pieces, how it would look like in person, or if I would like it. Now that I don’t always have time to go into a store, plus want more variety (and to shop while sitting on the couch and drinking wine) – I love that I had the opportunity to custom fit my piece. I kept the cropped sleeve length (since I’m always rolling up my sleeves), I lengthened the torso since I have a surprisingly long torso for my height, and kept the shirt fairly fitted. I absolutely love my top and think the ruffle detail and bow are such a fun feminine mix with the bold stripes. xo
