Is anyone else still stuffed with turkey and mashed potatoes? It was a glorious Thanksgiving weekend and I’m feeling rested, rejuvenated and ready to take on the holiday season coming up! I decided to close my laptop, not look at emails or to-do lists and just “check out” for the weekend. I am so happy that I took time to hang out with friends, watch movies, explore the city and SLEEP. I have a really bad habit of running myself to 0%, and the past couple of months I’ve been realizing how important it is to separate work and personal life (to some extent.) It is definitely hard to do since blogging is a personal component of my life, but I know that it’s okay to not feel guilty when I don’t want to dress up one day, take pictures or even open my social media accounts. Simply Audree Kate is my job, and a huge part of my life, but I also know that it’s okay to stop working every once in awhile to wear mismatch pajamas, curl up on a couch with my roommates and watch holiday movies. Right?!
As the holidays approach, I’m excited to take on the busy schedules once again, holiday festivities and connecting with all of you! So cheers to my favorite time of year, and a ton of fun goodies coming your way on SAK. Have a fantastic Monday! xo
