Maroon Moto Monday

Happy Monday! I filled my weekend with adventures and hanging out with friends and it was exactly what I needed in the midst of this crazy month. I feel like fall is zooming by and I haven’t even taken a second to stop, pick up a pumpkin and soak in my favorite season. Does anyone else feel that way? In addition to hanging out with friends, I finally have a little time to continue putting my apartment together. I almost feel embarrassed how long it’s taken me to put everything together since I moved in late July (oops!) but I feel like I was practically starting from scratch with furniture and decor, so I really wanted to take my time and buy and look for pieces that I wanted. Being a real adult is weird guys! But I feel like my bedroom is about 80% done, and the rest of the place just needs a couple home-y touches. I really want to do an apartment tour/photos in the next couple of months, so definitely let me know if that is something you would like to see!

Today’s look is gearing up for fall! I have been dying to bust out the blanket scarves and today is the day! I wore my favorite fall dress from my dear friend Lisa’s store called The Style Theory Collective, and paired it with a maroon leather vest and oversized blanket scarf. Also a little SAK styling hack, I layered a lace slip underneath the dress since it’s a little short on me (you can do this with dresses, skirts, etc.!) and it adds just a couple inches for comfort.
