New York City Bagel Guide

Calling all carb-o-holics! It’s time for my second New York City guide and today is all about Bagels! New York bagels are better than anywhere else. Maybe it’s the water, as some say, or maybe it’s love (that’s what I like to believe) – but either way, I vote New York bagels! I am sharing my favorite bagel shops, from Harlem to Brooklyn, so whether you like a traditional bagel, a sandwich, or a rainbow-colored bagel – I have you covered! Even if you’re not from NYC, you’ve probably heard of Ess-a-bagel. The line is usually out the door because the bagels are just that good; and I assure you that it is worth the wait. It’s the place to be on a weekend morning!

Tompkins Square Bagel

Since Ess-a-bagel is my uptown place, Tompkins Square Bagel is my lower Manhattan place! They even have gluten free options, so everyone can enjoy a bagel! I used to work  next to this location, so in the morning, or on lunch breaks, you could find me at Tompkins Square Bagel!

H&H Midtown Bagels East

First off, this place is right in my neighborhood, so it’s a no brainer that it is one of my favorites! Whether I am craving a bagel sandwich or a classic bagel with schmear, I know that I can always trust H&H. Their bagels are always fresh and they have plenty of options for me to choose from.
