Friday Favorites: Summer Beach Essentials

Happy Friday guys! It’s hard to believe that summer is more than halfway through – I feel like it was just January and I was celebrating the New Year. Is anyone else with me? I spent the Fourth of July on Fire Island with a couple friends and today I’m rounding up my favorite summer beach essentials! While most of you probably have your beach necessities covered, I know some of you are just as behind on life and shopping as I am! BEACH BAG

Beach hats are a must! It’s great for protecting your face from the sun or taking a alittle snooze underneath!

You can’t go to the beach without a swimsuit! I’m loving the one-piece trend right now but I also do love a good bikini! Choose whatever you feel most confident and comfortable in!

COVER-UPS

I usually don’t just wear my swimsuit when traveling to the beach, so I like to wear a simple coverup! I opt for a kimono, sundress, or just a simple wrap.

Linen and cotton tops paired with light-weight shorts make a great alternative to a traditional little cover-up! They’re easy to throw on, look more polished and you can also wear it with your regular clothes!

If a traditional coverup isn’t your thing then no worries! Pairing linen shorts with a simple top will do! What I love about linen shorts is that they’re light and airy which gives you the perfect beachy vibe.
