My Vacation Night-Out Look

Packing is probably my least favorite thing to do. I’m a regular offender of overpacking because let’s be honest, you never know if you’ll need that one specific black tee or certain wash of denim for your trip. Right? But lately I’ve been trying to simplify my suitcase and plan my outfits ahead of time. Aside from my basics and day pieces, I always pack at least one nicer look for a dinner, a night out or if something unexpected comes up! This piece for me is normally a maxi dress – I can still wear it during the day with sandals or sneakers if I want, but I can easily dress it up at night with bold accessories and a pop of lipstick.

I brought this dress from Lulu’s (buy it below!) for my weekend stay at citizenM Hotel here in NYC and it was a great look for their rooftop bar and lounge area. I absolutely love this dress because it has the hidden slits that add a little extra sass, plus it’s super comfortable and easy to pack! I paired the look with my new Report sandals and chunky gold jewelry. I also always pack a crossbody purse while traveling. It’s easy to carry and transition from day to night without having to pack multiple bags. I hope you enjoy today’s look and have fun packing for your next vacation! xo
