I might be jinxing myself once again, but I think it could finally start warming up in New York. Last week was beyond gloomy but the sun is shining this week and I’m getting those mini skirt and sandal vibes. While leather is a standard staple in my fall and winter wardrobe, I wanted to find a way I could still bring it into the warmer months. I paired my new Design History top with a pleated mini skirt and dressed it down with off-setting cognac accents and a white statement necklace. The top is really lightweight and has an open back that snaps together so it’s cool enough to wear in warmer weather but still super chic! Also, this season I’m really into the lighter accessories like cognac or white! Since sometimes my transitional or go-to pieces are neutral or black (lots of black…don’t judge), it can easily brighten and soften up a look for spring and summer without adding a painful amount of color ;).
I hope you enjoy your Tuesday and don’t forget to follow me on Snapchat (@audreekate) – you will get a glimpse at my real life OOTD’s (no, sorry I am not actually wearing this outfit today), the restaurants and coffee shops I’m trying out, and anything else kind of fun throughout my day! xo
