The Little Red Peplum

This past weekend I didn’t stop moving. If you kept up with my snapchat you saw that I attended Lovely Happenings, a lifestyle workshop event for bloggers and other creatives. It had shopping booths, craft workshops, food (my fav of course) and some awesome guest speakers like Lexicon Style. Next I went to a TRL: “I Love the ’00s” party and Ryan Cabrera played. How is it even possible that we’re already having retro parties for  the early 2000’s?! But it was a blast and I sang my heart out. On Sunday I went to a Yankee’s game with some friends and caught up on errands and emails. It was a busy weekend for sure but I’m ready for the warm weather and more summer adventures!

Today I’m wearing my new peplum from Shop Akira and I’m in love! You can dress it up with a pencil skirt or mix it up with ripped boyfriend jeans and platform heels.The top is made of a netting material and silk floral designs. I ended up not wearing an undershirt with it to keep the coloring, but you can also layer black underneath for a higher-end feel.
