I’m feeling a little like Cher today from Clueless. Well maybe Cher’s less preppy twin who wore a lot more black. I found this vintage blazer at a thrift store over a year ago, and you can see how I originally styled it here. Within the past year I have simplified my basics – neutral tops, bottoms, even shoes and I really focus to keep my bold pieces to be in my outerwear and accessories. I like investing in more simplified basics because you can wear them more often and are a versatile investment for your wardrobe. Today’s blazer really ties together the rather simple ensemble and lets you focus on the one piece.
A one statement- kind of outfit is a great start to mixing prints into your wardrobe. Also, with an entirely netural underlay and the pattern on top half of my body, it elongates and slims my body (who doesn’t love that?!). I hope you enjoy today’s post xx.
