Tied Up

Where did the week go?! My summer is flying by and it’s getting hotter each day in Phoenix. This weekend is supposed to reach close to 115 degrees so please pray I don’t melt! Today’s outfit is super lightweight and great for the heat – I wore a lace crop top from Nordstrom Rack with a black pair of Boy Meets Girl ruffle shorts from Nordstrom. I have basically lived in these shorts this summer because they are breathable in the heat and I can easily transition them from day to night, and to slim the waist and legs I topped off the look with my Express chambray shirt around the waist. Unfortunately in AZ this addition is completely useless when it’s still 90 degrees at night but if you’re somewhere cooler you can toss this on at night or if it’s cold inside. But on the bright side of things, you’ll never believe where I found this necklace, get ready for it, Walmart! It was $5! I was passing through the store a few weeks ago running errands and saw they were having a huge jewelry sale… and you know me and sales… but I found this necklace plus a couple of others for even cheaper! If you’re looking to update your accessories without spending a lot of money, Wally World might be your new hidden secret!
